Atari 2600 Video Amplifier Atari 2600 Composite Video

Atari 2600 Composite Video Mod. Using a Video Amplifer in place of the original RF modulator enables the Atari 2600 to output a composite video and audio signal to suit TVs with composite inputs (usually 3 x Phono Sockets - Yellow, Red, White). This modification costs £35 plus return shipping and all removed components are returned so the Atari could be put back to original specification at a later date if required. For TVs without suitable Phono connectors, but which have a suitable SCART socket, an adapter can be supplied for an extra £5

Atari 2600 Video Amplifier Atari 2600 Composite Video

Atari 2600 HDMI Video Mod. Using a Video Amplifer in place of the original RF modulator enables the Atari 2600 to output a composite video and audio signal that is then fed to a small HDMI upscaler to give an HDMI output for modern TVs. This modification costs £85 plus return shipping and all removed components are returned so the Atari could be put back to original specification at a later date if required. Please note that the case will need cutting if you want the upscaler to be mounted internally, otherwise it will be supplied as an external unit.

Please note that these modifications will not improve the resolution of the picture but they should give a clearer picture with better colour on most TVs
