Amiga Battery Module
For Amiga computers and others that were originally fitted with rechargeable batteries. This adapter uses a CR2032 non-rechargeable battery in a holder for easy replacement and with protection circuit to prevent the computer trying to charge the battery and damaging it. Simply replace the supplied battery with a standard CR2032 battery in the future.
This adapter uses a MOSFET instead of a diode so that the voltage drop is extremely low whilst also providing the same kind of protection. Designed by Andrew Hutchings, this should help increase battery life over the adapters that use diodes.
