Please Note: I am unable to accept CRT monitors (or computers with inbuilt CRT monitors) for repair due to space limitations and consequent risk of damage though please see my Apple page for vintage Mac repairs.

BBC Micro Power Supply Refurbishment Service
I can offer a refurbishment service on BBC Micro and BBC Mater power supplies. This includes replacement safety capacitors (those that often explode!) as well as the testing of all other capacitors in the power supply and replacements where necessary. I also replace the original mains power lead with a new lead and moulded plug fitted with a 5A fuse.
Send your original power supply to me and I will refurbish it normally within 2-3 days at a fixed price of £xx (BBC Micro Model B or B+) or £xx (BBC Master). Price includes UK return shipping. I can also do all this plus a full capacitor change on request at a cost of £xx for the BBC Micro or £xx for the Master.
If you want a faster service I can offer an advance replacement service whereby I send a refurbished power supply to you and you send back your old power supply. Please ask for details.
